FINALLY, A VERRUCA TREATMENT THAT ACTUALLY WORKS.

Verrucas are more than just an inconvenience. They can be painful, embarrassing and surprisingly stubborn — and if you’ve been trying to get rid of one for months, you’ll know how frustrating that feels.

Swift microwave therapy is a different approach. It targets the virus directly, requires no needles or dressings, and is done in minutes. We were one of the first clinics in the UK to offer it, and our podiatrists are among the most experienced Swift practitioners in Surrey.

If you’ve tried everything else, this is worth knowing about.”

Verrucas interfere with our daily routines and if left untreated, become thicker, more painful and deep-rooted. They can also be embarrassing and limiting when we’re with our friends and families.

Now there is a solution that’s rapid, effective and proven in clinical research – Swift verruca treatment – available at our dedicated verruca clinic in Epsom.

Swift was developed and launched in 2016. We were one of the very first clinics to adopt this precise, ground-breaking microwave technology and thoroughly train our podiatrists. As a result, our podiatrists are highly experienced in successfully treating the most persistent verrucas that have resisted more traditional treatments.

WHAT MAKES SWIFT VERRUCA TREATMENT DIFFERENT?

  • Swift verruca treatment is well named – simply a short series of brief treatments

  • No injections or chemicals

  • No open wounds to heal or uncomfortable dressings

  • No need to administer extra care at home

“I’ve suffered from verrucas for about 4/5 years and tried numerous treatments at Ashtead Hospital/Spire, with no luck. My podiatrist ran through various options and the Swift technology has worked miracles. After years of hiding my feet in public, I’m now verruca free! Cannot recommend enough.”

Ashley J, Ashtead, Surrey

VERRUCAS CAN BE PAINFUL AND CONTAGIOUS

They are difficult to treat and unsightly; some can persevere for years, growing deeper and impacting increasingly on daily activities.

If you’ve had a verruca for more than 6 months the chance of it going without treatment is just 8%. You may have already tried treating your verruca at home, using traditional gels and salicylic acid, or even used less traditional verruca treatment methods such as banana skins and duct tape to remove a verruca – none of which have ever been clinically proven to succeed.

Around 10% of the population has a verruca. Almost everybody has tried off-the-shelf remedies and learned they’re slow and ineffective. By using Swift verruca treatment we can attack the verruca virus at its heart – it’s the most effective, reliable and rapid treatment available for verrucas.

WHAT IS SWIFT VERRUCA TREATMENT?

Swift is the latest and innovative use of existing technology. Developed in the UK, it has been licenced for the general treatment of verrucas in podiatry. Swift uses microwave energy which is delivered in seconds through a special probe applied to the skin to treat the affected tissue.

On average, patients require 4 Swift treatment sessions – usually 15-minute appointments – over 12 weeks.
